Some introductions are in order, I think. I believe I have re-invented myself quite a few times in my lifetime. Some re-inventions were easier than others. I would say that thinking about them was always harder than actually doing them.
Here they are in the order in which they happened:
- Marriage and 3 sons – wife & mother
- Attended full time university – student, wife & mother
- Fulltime work, volunteer board – employment counsellor, schoolboard member, wife & mother
- Transfer from NB to NWT – what an adventure! same roles
- Career Advancement – Supervisor, Assistant Manager, Internal Consultant, Volunteer Board Executive
- Adult Education Diploma – student again
- Early retirement – leaving after 20 years
- Becoming grandmother
- Creation of Workstyle-Lifestyle Consulting – Facilitator, Trainer, Consultant – travel all over NWT and Nunavut
- Adding Coaching to the mix
- Executive Coaching Diploma – student again
- Move to new city – Victoria – whole new lifestyle/workstyle
